Our 8 oz. Cedarburgers have been named after some of the important contributors to our historic Cedarburg community and to our personal lives, as well.  To all of them, we’d like to say “Thank you!”

 

 The Wittenberger $7.50

Fresh Angus ground chuck with melted Swiss cheese and grilled onions on grilled sour dough bread.

 

This burger is named after John F. Wittenberg III, whose grandfather founded the Wittenberg Mill complex, which now houses the Historic Cedar Creek Settlement and winery.  John, a longtime family friend, designed the kitchen at the Vintage Grille.

 

The Lowell $6.50

We provide the burger and the Kaiser roll and you build it with your choice of cheese, bacon, mushrooms, or avocado at .60 each.

This burger is dedicated to Lowell and Don Levy, who helped us get our start with Pastimes in Thiensville, our first restaurant.  The “build it yourself” attitude has taken the Levys from a tiny office in downtown Cedarburg in the 1950’s to the most prestigious law firm in Ozaukee County.  Lowell was the Cedarburg city attorney for many years and both Don and Lowell are continuously involved in charitable events to benefit our community.

 

The Wheelburger $7.50

Fresh Angus grilled chuck topped with cheddar cheese and crisp bacon.  Served on a Kaiser roll.

 

This burger is dedicated to the late Marvin and Evelyn Prochnow, who built the first restaurant in this very location in 1973.  This burger was the best seller at their restaurant, The Black Wheel.

 

The Rusty $6.95

Melted American cheese and raw onion top fresh Angus ground beef grilled to your liking on a Kaiser roll.

 

This burger is named after the late Russ Dimick, Meg’s father, who was the city engineer and director of public works for the City of Cedarburg from 1956-1990.  We miss him.  P.S.  This was his favorite lunch – medium, no fries, Thank you.
