We proudly make our gelato and sorbetto flavors with the respect
of our Italian traditional recipes, style and ingredients. "Authentic Artisan Italian Gelato" means that we only use high quality products in respect of the Italian gelato master chefs’ rules.
Few secrets? Fresh local milk & cream to give the highest nutrients along with school, classes, lessons and professional books. A real artisan never finishes learning a new technique, a new style, a new decoration to create every day a better gelato. This means hard work and a lot of sacrifice. Do you know what means "passion and proud for something you love to do"?
Poor gelato can be made with dry milk and butter as a "milk base" and then adding aromas. Remember, a good gelato must be a complete food for your health including vitamins, protein and limited in fat content. We carry imported natural flavors from Italy (yes, we are importing directly from overseas). We have a direct line with some of the most important gelato suppliers in Italy. Just for the best ingredients that are not available here in US.
Imported directly from Italy, (and we can prove it) are: Hazelnut from Piemonte, Almonds, the Sicilian Pistachio and some more for example. Our best gelato chocolate is made from the best and richest cocoa powder from Holland, the chocolate liquor and the finest bittersweet chocolate we use to melt in our "chocolate base" are from Guittard and Callebaut.
From these very best ingredients we start to make our chocolate flavors like: Fondente (dark chocolate), Nutella, Gianduia, Bacio, Spicy Chocolate, Mon Cheri (cherries soaked in liquor), Choco-Orange, Chocolate-Ginger and more from our family recipes.
Don't forget to try our coffee flavors. We make this gelato by using our Italian coffee with our special Italian espresso machine. The rich espresso coffee with the crema is mixed immediately with the "gelato base" to avoid losing natural flavors and aromas.
Espresso, Cappuccino, Mocha, Irish Coffe, Tiramisu' (yes, Tiramisu' has some coffee too). We also have other traditional Italian recipes like: Croccantino Rum, Venice cream, Yellow cream & Bourbon Vanilla (the real VANILLA, not vanillin), Malaga, Mozart Kugeln (the famous Austrian praline "Mozart's balls"), Cheese Cake and many more. Only the best classic flavors.
We do have also flavors for our young friends like:
Apple Pie, Oreo, Donuts, Cookie, Smurf, Bubble Gum, M&M etc...
For the Sorbetto we use only real fruit or fruit juice: Strawberry, Raspberry, Blueberry, Guava,
Apricot, Cantaloupe, Cherry, Lemon, home-made Limoncello liquor, Mango, Passion Fruit, Pineapple, Tripleberry, Cranberry, Lime, Pear, refreshing Lemon-Basil.
Please, don't ask us if we carry 357 or more flavors! It's not a race of recipes numbers for us.
We will do our best in the future to increase our recipes only if we are happy with the final result. We are fussy and critical with our product; your smile is the best feedback for us. Is not in our tradition, to create a new so so flavor with a glamour fantasy name, just to confuse the customer. Marina (the master chef) and Cheryl (our maestro gelato maker) like to race with just a few winning racing horses rather than suffering with a lot of unreliable donkeys. And please ask Cheryl about horses, she's an expert about it.
