Step inside
the Victorian Railcar and you’re transported back to 1910, the year this magnificent car was built. Originally a dining car, this piece of Smith & Barney history also served as a sleeper in the mid ‘20s, and was restored to its original grandeur in the fall of 2002. Every detail harks back to Victorian-era high society, providing an authentic dining car experience for railroaders and rail fans alike.

 

Today, the Victorian Railcar calls the circa 1896 Maxim’s At The Oconomowoc Depot home, providing unique banquet facilities to Oconomowoc and the surrounding areas. The vintage 70’ x 10’ car has room to accommodate up to 42 people for gatherings quaint or festive. Catering may be accommodated in our historic depot.

·         Final guest count required 5 days prior to function.

·         Full payment due at time of service.

This special menu has been designed for after the memorial service of a loved one.

Please note that prices do not include tax. An 18% gratuity will be applied to the final bill.

 

For $10.75 per person, you may select items from the list of our most popular lunch portion entrées.

Each entrée includes a cup of chicken dumpling soup and coffee, tea, or soft drink.

Beer Braised Pot Roast

Tender beer braised beef topped with our homemade gravy and served with baby red mashed potatoes and seasoned vegetables.

 

¼ Rotisserie Chicken

Tender, marinated chicken served with baby red mashed potatoes and seasoned vegetables.

 

Roast Turkey

Roast breast of turkey with dressing, pan gravy, and cranberry compote. Served with baby red mashed potatoes and vegetables.

 

Baked Tilapia

Two 4oz filets baked in a lemon butter sauce and topped with seasoned bread crumbs. Served with baby red mashed potatoes and seasoned vegetables.

 

Stuffed Roasted Pork

Pork loin stuffed with our homemade dressing, drizzled in mushroom gravy and served with baby red mashed potatoes, seasoned vegetables, and applesauce.

 

Crispy Chicken Salad

Breaded chicken pieces, roma tomatoes, cucumbers, bacon bits, cheddar cheese, and croutons. Served with honey Dijon mustard dressing on the side.
