More Info: B.J. Wentker arrived from Germany in 1880. After gaining employment at the Finke-Uhen Brewery, he realized the need for a high-class tavern to showcase the fine products the local brewery was producing. Wentker's dream was to cater to a select trade, who appreciated his efforts to give the public a high-class establishment. He wanted to provide fine food, liquors, wines, and cigars; and he prided himself on the good quality of his stock - never offering anything inferior to his loyal friends and customers. It is now our desire to continue the tradition and grandeur that B.J. Wentker attained so many years ago.

I miss your place so much. I have started dreaming about my steer tenderloin. Of course it is going to snow a foot today, and all I want is the roads to be clear so I can make my way there. Marilyn from Camp Lake

It is our favorite restaurant and THE BEST fish fry in SE Wisconsin. The staff is friendly and Chef Peterson is creative and talented. It is great to see a young couple work so hard and do so well. We just hope we can still get a table. The Mennen's.

Wow! I have Celiac Disease and so I have to be very careful to not get any gluten in my diet. Chef Eric came to my table to talk to me personally about this. Not only did he cater to my Celiac needs, he also made me the best meal I have ever eaten!

There are many great restaurants in SE Wisconsin but none as unique as BJ's. You will never taste food like this anywhere. From the roasted garlic and warm bread to the entree's and deserts, one word...phenomenal! Not to mention the atmosphere.
