Ella made life long friends with the thousands of children who’s lives she enhanced through her contributions to charities. She also had interesting friends like Billie Holiday and Marilyn Monroe. A Comedy Murder Mystery
Milwaukee, Wisconsin, April 6, 2008: Broadway Baby Dinner Theatre is proud to present “DEATHTRAP”. One of Broadway’s longest running productions, “DEATHTRAP” is one of the most popular works of the late Ira Levin and will be entertaining audiences beginning Friday, April 25, 2008 and ending May 30, 2008.
First presented by Alfred de Liagre and Roger L Stevens at the Music Box Theatre in New York City in 1978, “DEATHTRAP” is a thriller where not even the savviest audience member can predict the next twist or turn. “DEATHTRAP” tells the story of a Connecticut playwright who has seen his glory days pass him by when he encounters a young student who has written a spectacular thriller that will easily fill theater seats. The aged playwright unexpectedly devises a plan to do the unthinkable - - steal the play for his own use. However, as the tale unfolds, we learn that not all may be as it seems, and who is trustworthy and who is not may be ambiguous.
The director has brought a unique and contemporary spark to a timeless piece of theatre. Starring a slew of Wisconsin’s finest upcoming performers, “DEATHTRAP” will be an evening of quality cuisine and performance that local theatre will remember for years to come.

“DEATHTRAP” runs Friday and Saturday evenings at 8:00pm, and Sunday afternoons at 4:00pm, Friday, April 25, 2008 through May 30, 2008. Wednesday evening performances will be available for groups.
Dinner is served two (2) hours prior to the show. Our full service bar is adjacent to the theatre and we welcome patrons to join us for cocktails before and after each show (smoking is permitted in this area).
