Built in 1881 by the Kempken family, the original historic barn was of the most modern styling in its day. Destroyed by fire, it was lovingly rebuilt with hand-hewn 12" x 12" wooden beams on the existing fieldstone. After surviving over 100 years of change, the historic structure was recently acquired by the Foster family. Known for their long standing tradition of providing unsurpassed southern cuisine and hospitality, the Cotton Exchange is the culmination of their decades of experience. Directions: Hwy 36 From Milwaukee: Take a right onto Main St. (Which will become Hwy 20 & 83) follow through Waterford and out of town about 1 mi. on the Right hand side.
