More Info: In 1845, the first clerk of Washington County built a quaint, one-room cabin in the wooded, rolling hills of the northern Kettle Moraine. Nearly 90 years later, Ray Wolf, an avid horseman, restored the cabin, added a basement bar and opened it to fellow equestrians. It soon became headquarters for many a fox hunt, and so the name, “Fox & Hounds” was a natural when the Wolfs opened their restaurant in 1933.
Today the new owners, Thomas Masters and his brother, Will Masters, and Jim Constantineau are excited to share their vision for the new Fox & Hounds with everyone. Tom and Jim have been forming this vision since parking cars at the Fox & Hounds over 30 years ago. You’re invited to relive your wonderful memories of time spent at the historic Fox & hounds and share new memories with us at The New Fox & Hounds Restaurant & Tavern.

We were party of 10 tonight for a big celebration. Having seen some very negative comments I was concerned. The restaurant was full, our service was wonderful and the food was delicious. I had rib eye & most had ribs or shrimp. Highly recommend!

The New Fox and Hounds is one of our favorite destinations. One of the things that makes it unique, other than the excellent food, drinks and service, is that we come by Harleys and you find a great mix of people. "Leathers" or a suit, stop in!

I have been to this restaurant about 15 times over the last 45 years. I have never been dissapointed with the food or the service. Our vist last night to once again enjoy the roast country duck far exceeded our expectations.THE BOGO promotion is gr8t

My wife & I had dinner last night at Fox & Hounds for the 1st time in 8 yrs. Everything was outstanding! Filet was tender. Settler's stew fantastic. Beer/Cheese soup delicious. Desserts were delicious. Service by Lisa was top-notch!

I was just thrilled to see that one of my most favoite restraunts is still around & is thriving!Anyone who has never been here before needs to visit this wonderful place!The atmosphere is superb and the food is fabulous!I cant wait to return:)

As children, we remembered dining at Fox and Hounds for "special" events. Last night, under a full moon, Fox and Hounds provided us with a "special" evening. The excellent food and friendly service were enhanced by the rustic atmosphere. Perfect!
