More Info: Oakland Trattoria is a casual Italian restaurant on Milwaukee's East side.The restaurant features wood-fired ovens that give the popular homemade pizzas and pastas their distinctive flavor. The ovens are displayed in an open kitchen where guests can view the wood-fired process. A wide range of pizzas are offered or diners can choose their own toppings from artichokes to zucchini. A variety of traditional Italian appetizers, salads, sandwiches and specialty dishes are served daily. A casual, trattoria style atmosphere can be found at Oakland Trattoria. Colorful vegetables are painted on the dining room walls as well as oversized ones suspended in the full bar area. The "Fire Room" with vintage Italian photos is especially nice for large group functions.
