Thank you for requesting banquet information from PorterHouse Restaurant. The following guidelines will explain general banquet information and procedures. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask anyone on our banquet staff, they will be more than happy to help.
1. Banquet and meeting room is available in our beautifully decorated party room. The spacious party room is located on our lower level and can accommodate up to 225 people for a sit down dinner and up to 200 people for a buffet. It has a large dance floor and bar and is perfect for weddings and sizable groups of people. Our party room also has a sliding door to accommodate smaller groups.
2. In the name of fairness the party room is rented on a first come first served basis. Space is held when a deposit is placed on the room for a specific date. A deposit is required to hold the party room and will be credited to your final bill. In case of cancellation the deposit is forfeited.
3. You are welcome to decorate the room, but we ask that you please use thumb tacks only.
4. China, flatware, linen tablecloth and napkins are provided for all banquets.
5. Banquet menu selections and the specific number of entrees to be prepared will be needed one week in advance to the day of your party. That is the minimum number of people you will be charged for. Any additional people will be charged accordingly.
6. The bill for your event is to be paid for at the end of your function unless you have made other arrangements with PorterHouse Restaurant. We accept cash, checks and most credit cards.
7. Our policy requires that all food and beverages must be purchased from the PorterHouse Restaurant, with the exception of special occasion cakes. Leftover food may not be taken from the premises. If you bring a cake to serve your guests, it must be from a certified bakery and not a home kitchen. Cake service is .50 cents per person.
8. Due to circumstances beyond our control, quoted prices may change in the course of planning your event. We suggest that you contact us 30 days prior to your party to get accurate price information.
9. An 18% service charge will be added to your bill, in addition, there is also a 5.85% Wisconsin sales tax. If you are tax exempt, please provide a copy of your tax exempt certificate with your deposit.
10. Under Wisconsin law, minors under 21 years of age are not allowed to consume alcoholic beverages. You are asked to help us in policing minor guests in your party.
11. Please notify us as soon as your musical arrangements have been made. Music must end no later than 1:00am.
12. We regretfully are not responsible for damage, loss or exchange of personal property.
13. A minimum guarantee of 125 people is required to reserve the downstairs banquet room on a Saturday night.
